This place was pointed out by Mr. David Miller, Writer, as the site of a small Tower which stood at the Southwest angle of the wall which surrounded the Abbey grounds or precincts. It was removed several years ago to make room for the new Tower and Spire which was in course of erection at the West end of the Parish Church. |
