Balinscho was anciently an independent Ecclesiastical district.
The Church or Chapel was dedicated to St. Ninian, and stood
on the west of the Turnpike Road, and is still marked by the
family burial enclosure of Kinloch of Kilry.
This, too, had perhaps been the last resting place
of the Lindsays of Balinscho.
