[Notes]
Magdalene is here spelled
with the final, e, as in the authorised
version of the scriptures and also
as in the name of the Episcal
Church - see Name Book for
Sheet 54-9 No.3

The popular name of this object is Magdalene Green
but in many documents it is called Magdalene Yard, and
in the name of the adjoining road it is also the latter
name. It is therefore perhaps as weel retain both names
on plan.

Ordnance Survey - Angus county

Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Angus, which is in the east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
