Mr. Cowie of N. [Nether] Dysart farm Tenant Mr. Arkley, Dunninald Revd [Reverend] Mr. Mitchell Ph. [Parish] Minister Mr Keith of Usan Alexander Steward Steward of Dysat Title Deeds Estate Map Co. [County] Map Mr Hector Factor |
035 | This is now an out-farm of "Nether Dysart" with which farm it is let & included, hence the name does not appear in the Co [County] Roll. Everybody refers to it as "Buckiemill" not as Buckie Den, which appears to have been the original name according to the Title Deeds, the Estate Map & the Co. [County] Map of 1790 - It would be improper to loose sight of Buckie Mill which is generally used & well known. "Buckie Den" has not been given to this steading in the whole course of the Parishes around while collecting the names. The name may most probably have been changed from Buckie Den Mill to the short form of Buckiemill. |
| RICKLE CRAIG | Rickle Craig Rickle Craig Rickle Craig Rickle Craig Rickle Craig |

This is one of the best known names on the coast between Buckie Den & the mouth of the South Esk. Rickle Rock is neither used not applied as on the Co [County] [Map] |

Ordnance Survey - Angus county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Angus, which is in the east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
