All personal authorities referred to call this the "Burn of Kinrive" (pronounced "Kinroe") and even the proprietor recognises it, from shooting in the glen by the popular name of "Kinroe". The name is applied on the Traces as it is understood in the locality - from about "Hindhaugh" or the junction of the East & West Burns of Glenmoye. 25.1. The proprietor considers, under the circumstances, that the name it is generally known by and the name given in the old documents of the Estate (the Plans) should be retained.
