Bishop's Palace [note]
"The Bishop's Palace of which no
trace is now left, except a very small portion
of the Arch of the gateway (on the inner and
south side of the Bishop's Close) stood near
the site of the old Manse. The ruins both of
this edifice & of the Canons' houses were to be
seen towards the close of the 17th. Century, and also
in all probability Bishop Carnock's tower
which formed part of the Old City Wall"

Ordnance Survey - Angus county

Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Angus, which is in the east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
