"Loch Leven is about 13 miles in circumference "The part of it which is in this Parish [ - ] is laid "to cover 1730 acres of land, and contains the islands "of St Servanus, which extends since the draining "of the Lakes to about 70 acres."

There is no part of this Loch in Portmoak Parish - It all belongs to Kinross Parish according to the Sketch Maps of Kinross (See Page 11 of this book) J Mc. 9th June 1855
