A large farm house two stories high with extensive offices and threshing machine, all in good repair; there is a garden, and a farm of about 210 acres Scots, of arable land attached. Tenanted by Robert Wilson, the property of Sir Thomas Erskine of Cambo. It is supposed that the farm house owes its name to the circumstance of being built in a field that commanded a fine view of the Frith of Forth. |
