Blairadam remarkable for its extensive Woods and ornamental grounds is beautifully Situated in a narrow vale extending from Fife into Kinrossshire with Benarty on the North east and Cleish Hills on the West. The house which Stands near the Centre of the woods has rather a singular appearance, additions having been added to it from time to time and it now forms a Square with two inner Courts. A little to the north east is the Garden tastefully laid out and neatly kept. The principal entrance to the house is from the South East whence a fine View is obtained of the grounds and Surrounding neighbourhood. Proprietor William Patrick Adam Esquire. |

Ordnance Survey - Fife and Kinross counties
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the counties of Fife in the east of Scotland and Kinross in central Scotland. The boundaries of these counties were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
