005; 010 | [situation] In the Northern portion of the County of Fife. A small parish in the northeast of Fifeshire, extending in length about 3 miles, and in greatest breadth about 2 miles. It is bounded on the north by the parish of Flisk on the east by Kilmany and Moonzie, on the south by Monimail and on the west by Denbog and a detached portion of Abdie. The superficial area is about 2314 acres which are mostly cultivated, and 210 acres under plantations this parish is in the Presbytery of Cupar and Synod of Fife. Patron Grant of Congleton. |
