It was formerly a Roman Catholic Chapel and in connection with the preceptory of Gadvan which formerly occupied the present site of Dunbog House [and] belonged to the Abbey of Balmerino. the [date] of its erection is unknown. At the reformation it was converted to and used as a parish Church. |
