A parish in Fifeshire, bounded on the South by the parishes of Creich and Abdie, on the east by Balmerino, on the North by the Tay, and on the West by Denbog. It is rather more than 4 miles in length from east to west, but is only about one mile in breadth. Its superficial area is about 2578 acres, about 2120 of which are under cultivation and 264 acres under plantations. It is in the presbytery of Cupar and Synod of Fife. Patron Lord Dundas. |
