A parish in the county of Fife, about 5 miles in length from East to West, and about 2 1/4 miles in breadth from north to south, at its two extremities, but about 3 1/2 miles at the centre. It is bounded by the parishes of Portmoak, Leslie and Markinch in the South, by those of Markinch and Kettle on the East, by Kettle and Strathmiglo on the north and by the parish of Strathmiglo on the west. No part of this parish is detached, and no detached portion of any other parish is situated within this. |
