Having called on Mr Deas, when attending to the Remarks of Plan 34D, for information Respecting the Remark made on Pitfirrane Dean, I was informed that the original and most correct Orthography for the mname of his house is "Lundin" instead of the name 'London' which I had before from him. I have consulted others on the subject who say Lundin is the proper name. I have altered it on trace 5. Mr Alex[ande]r Watt, Rent Rect[o[r H. Deas and John Proudfoot are authorities.

Ordnance Survey - Fife and Kinross counties

Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the counties of Fife in the east of Scotland and Kinross in central Scotland. The boundaries of these counties were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
