Awell laid out street leaving Princes Street in a Northerly direction to its junction with Queen Street. It is intersected in the centre by the West side of St. Andrews Square. It is well paved, drained, and lighted up with gas, having a flagged causeway of about 12 ft [feet] in width on each side. The houses are 4 & 5 stories high well built and in good repair, occupied by respectable families |
