A well built and laid out street leaving Abercromby Place on the East and running parallel with Queen Street to its junction with with the South end of India Street, it is macadamised, drained, and lighted up with gas having a flagged causeway on its north side of about 12 feet in width, The houses are 3 and 4 stories high exclusive of underground flats, betwixt this and Queen Street, are well laid out pleasure grounds, appropriated for the use of the inhabitants on each side, This Street is occupied principally by professional Gentlemen and other respectable families. |
