A large and elegant mansion, erected in A.D. 1768 in the grecian style of architecture, it is in excellent repair, and has convenient offices attached. At a short distance are kitchen and ornamental gardens which are now let as market gardens. It is surrounded by Plantations, walks, Ponds, and pleasure grounds, at a short distance to the north of this house is a small ornamental temple. This house is the property of the Marquis of Abercorn and is at present unoccupied.
