[Situation] 7 Chains east of Inveresk Church A handsome mansion House situated a short distance South of the village of Newbigging. It is compassed by a stone wall which bounds a Neatly laid out demesne. It is in the Elizabethan Style of Architecture and is supposed to have been built about the begginning of the 17th Century as the date 1603 is engraved on a stone over the front door. It is the property of H. Colt Esqr. |
