This is a chalybeate spring immediately adjoining the Brow the spring is built up and covered over the top by a small mound of earth and the water issues out of a small iron pipe into a small semicircular trough below it, There is a small wooden shed adjoining for the accomodation of visitors raised mostly by subscription, This well is much frequented by visitors during the summer season Very high tides come as far up and even stop the current from the spring |
