A rivulet which has its source at Burnfoothill near Sarkshiels, and flows South-eastward through this Parish, and through Half Morton and Gretna, and forms a Confluence with a small river named White Sark at a point 3/4 of a mile above Springfield. In the District it bears the name of Logan Burn, from its source to Raeburnfoot, thence to the White Sark it bears the name of Black Sark. |
