Transcriber's notes

check Brecken Brae - Descriptive Remarks - last sentence - the second 'e' of 'Breckens' seems to have been neatly scored out in green ink and an 'o' has been written above. However, I think this too has been crossed out with an x in black ink - reverting to the original 'e'? These same changes also seem to have been made in the Various modes of Spelling.

Fowmarte Stane - Descriptive Remarks - the very last word isn't clear, but assumed to be 'weasel' since a Fowmarte is apparently a pole-cat (foul martin) which is a type of weasel.
