Shinwillie Wood - Descriptive Remarks - line 2 - the 's' of 'closely' looks more like a 'd', but see e.g. 'Cauldside' in the Descriptive Remarks for Calside. Also I can't find 'Clode(ly) in the Dictionary of the Scots Language (cloddy is the closest). 'thick and close' (as originally written here) is also written on the previous page (104).
