037 | Previous to the Reformation a Chapel stood here, said to have been erected during the 13th Century. It was dedicated to Saint Bartholomew, and was surrounded by a graveyard which still exists, but is now used as a playground by the School which stands in it. |

[Honourable] the Earl of Aberdeen for the use of the western part of the Parish, the average attendance of Scholars is 80. The School is used as a Preaching station once a month, when service is conducted by the Minister of the Parish. |
