There is no record of this in any of the Books I have seen, it is well known by the name given, and is evidently the remains of a large "Druidical", or "Memorial Cairn". It is surrounded with a Stone Wall, and belt of mixed Woods and forms a very conspicuous object on the Landscape. |

Ordnance Survey - Aberdeen county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Aberdeen, which is in the north east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
