075 | This Bridge was built by one Henry Cheyne, Bishop of Aberdeen, who died in the year 1329, it is said the bridge was not finished until the year 1320, though in progress for many years, this is the well-known Brig o' Balgownie and consists of one large pointed Gothic arch of 72 feet span it is situated about 1200 yards from the mouth of the Don.
