065 | This name applies to what is traditionally said to have been a Roman Camp. It has consisted of a large rectangular enclosure measuring 800 yards from north to south and 500 yards from east to west, and from the very trifling remains on the west side, it would appear to have been formed by a single ditch and rampart; traces of the outline of this object are visible in many places through the arable land, many portions of which were destroyed within the limits of a few years. |

Ordnance Survey - Aberdeen county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Aberdeen, which is in the north east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
