028 | On the farm of Burreldales there are the remains of a Druidical Circle consisting of an upright stone about 5 feet in height and 2 ft [feet) and a half in width the farmer says about seven years ago there were two complete Circles consisting of a large quantity of huge boular stones some of which would weigh from twenty to thirty hundredweight the outer circle measured about thirty yards in diameter the outer stones did not form a perfect circle nor did they stand upright |

028 | near the south west of the outer circle and about a foot below the surface was discovered a rude stone coffin containing a large urn nothing authentic wither as to the style of its manufacture or the precise nature of or state of its contents is preserved owing to it falling to peices as soon as exposed to the air About a foot below the inner circle was discovered another stone Coffin containing a quantity of human bones about two yards north of the stone coffin was found part of a bronze sword which measured about three inches in length and a inch and a half in width the greater part of the stones were built into dykes |
