It is said that many cart loads of the Stones have been removed for building houses and stone Dykes. Situated on the farm of Millbrex and in a field abt [about) 2. chains W. [West] of a fence at junction of Roads, About 35. Cains N.E. of Millbrex and abt. [about] 15. C. [Chains] W. [West] of the Co. [County] Road Mr Beaton found no relics in the Cairns nor under surface when digging the land for cultivation but he says that he had dug no more than a foot under surface. I could not learn the tradition connected with this Cairn |
