066 | This name applies to a district embracing a few cottar's houses, the railway station, station-master's house, and a creosote works belonging to the Great North of Scotland Railway, which is used for dipping the railway sleepers. There is every reason to believe that in a short time the whole of the land will lose that moorish aspect which part of is still possesses, as the waste parts of the parish are being extensively reclaimed, and will repay the labour.
