045 | In the year 1817 while workmen were levelling a small hillock in the farmsteading of Loanhead they found an Urn, bottom upwards filled with bones and burnt matter it appeared to have been ornamented and was 15 inches in depth by about 12 inches in diameter. It was broken by the workmen picks. |

045 | A number of small urns were found here in the year 1817 while trenching the ground. but they were all either carried away or destroyed but from the description of people who saw them they appear to have resembled small-sized flower pots. |
