Transcriber's notes
Dear Bill Neil,
Could I please point you to the FAQs and Transcription guides which will assist you in your transcription work. Please especially note how to transcribe the following:
Date formats should be dd mmm yyyy or d mmm yyyy
Expanding first names should be Catherine not Cat[therine]
It is also not recommended to work only the headers on pages. You have now locked this volume out of reach of other transcribers. Please refrain from doing this in the future.
Please also make use of the forums to ask questions, you have a lot of bracketed names that other transcribers or moderators will be able to help you with.
Thank you
