Smailholm kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Kelso, later of Jedburgh and Kelso, later of Jedburgh again, and the synod of Merse and Teviotdale. Prior to the Reformation, the church of Smailholm belonged to the Abbey of Jedburgh and the session records record ministry from 1574.
