Edinburgh - Canongate kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Edinburgh and the synod of Lothian and Tweeddale. It was formerly known as Holyroodhouse. In 1856, when the burgh of Canongate became part of Edinburgh, the Canongate Kirk was made an Edinburgh burgh church.
