When searching the results, you can sort and filter records in different ways.

Sorting search results

By default results are sorted alphabetically by surname.

To sort results in a different way, select the top of a column to sort results by that topic. For example, to sort by year select ‘Year’ at the top of the search results.

Filtering search results

You can filter the results of a search by:

• adding more information to the search
• selecting filters to limit results

You can access the search fields and filters by selecting the ‘Refine search’ box above the search results.

After adding filters or more information, select ‘Update results’ to display the updated results.
