This poser is going to test you on your knowledge of dates and the Latin used in dates. The five examples below come from the testaments of Orkney and Shetland Commissary Court (Crown copyright, National Records of Scotland, CC17/2/1 and 2). You'll notice the Latin word apud, which means at and also that some of the dates are contracted using superscript letters.
