In this poser, taken from the minutes of Stirling Presbytery in 1581 (National Records of Scotland, CH2/722/1, page 8), we asked you who appeared before the presbytery and who were the two individuals accused of adultery.
Answer: Malcolme Wallace, an elder of the kirk of Stirling (striuiling) compeared before the presbytery and the adulterers were Margaret Leich and James Galbrayth of Culcreuch (Culcruch). Culcreuch was a small estate in Fintry parish.

and shew that Margaret leiche haid confessit in thair
p[ar]ticular assemblie that scho haid com[m]ittit adultry w[i]t[h]
James galbrayt[h] of culcruch desyring the elderschip to wrett
and declair the sam[y]n to the elderschip quhair the said
James dwell[is]
The brethir ordains the moderato[u]r to wret wnto the elderschip
of glasq[o]w & to desyr thame to try the said James galbrayt[h]
of culcruch befoir thame tuiching the adultry allegit vpon
him be the said Margaret leiche
