Poser 293 - Minutes of Duddingston Kirk Session, 1752
This poser is taken from the minutes of Duddingston Kirk Session and dates from 1752 (National Records of Scotland, CH2/125/1, page 63).
This is a reasonably straightforward example: the handwriting is neat, but there are areas where the text from one line interferes with that in the next line, and there are also some contracted words that may cause an issue. The writer uses large looping flourishes on many of his letters which can also interfere with test on the same line. Watch out for the two different ways of spelling 'style' in this example.
