This poser is an extract from the Clackmannanshire land tax rolls (also called cess or valuation rolls), 1802 (Crown copyright, National Records of Scotland, E106/9/4, page13). They list the owners of landed estates and assess the rental value of their lands.
The hand is neat and regular featuring a few secretary hand letter. Watch out for the different ways the letter s is formed, abbreviations and flourishes on capital letters.
