Poser 279 - Marriages for Aberdeen, 1672

This poser is taken from the Aberdeen Old Parish Register of Marriages, and dates from 1672 (Crown copyright, National Records of Scotland, OPR Marriages 168-0A 0120 0545 [Aberdeen]).

This is a good clear example of a register entry of this period: the handwriting is neat, but some of the letters may be slightly unfamiliar to the modern eye. Watch out for some abbreviations of words, some 'creative' spellings, the letter yogh, and the secretary hand e, h and r in particular.
