Wigtown Free, United Free kirk session

A secession church court. It began as a Free Church preaching station in 1843. The congregation passed to the United Free Church in 1900 and united with Wigtown West, the former United Presbyterian church, in 1901. The united congregation passed to the Church of Scotland in 1929, and in 1948 it united with Wigtown Laigh to be known as Wigtown.
