A secession church court. It began as a Free Church in 1843. The congregation passed to the United Free Church in 1900, and in 1921 the charge was reduced in status. In 1928 Kirkcolm United Free was united with the congregation of Leswalt and the united charge was renamed Ervie. In 1929, the congregation passed to the Church of Scotland as Ervie and Leswalt, and in 1950 it was united with Kirkcolm to form the session of Ervie and Kirkcolm.
