Whitsome kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Chirnside and the synod of Merse and Teviotdale. In 1735 the charge of Hilton was joined with Whitsome to form the united session of Whitsome and Hilton. Hilton was later dropped from the name of the parish.
