Longridge - Crofthead Free kirk session
A secession church court. It began as Whitburn (or Longridge) (Burgher) Original Secession Church. It was formed in 1801 by a group dissenting from the New Light views of the Burgher Synod. The church adhered to the Original Secession Synod in 1842 and to the Free Church in 1852 as Crofthead (Longridge). The congregation passed to the United Free Church in 1900, as Fauldhouse, and to the Church of Scotland in 1929, as Fauldhouse Crofthead.
