West Linton kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Peebles, from 1976 of Melrose and Peebles, and the synod of Lothian and Tweeddale. The kirk session of West Linton was established following the Reformation in 1560. Ministers to the parish are recorded from 1561. Prior to the Reformation, the church belonged to the Abbey of Kelso.Records available
