West Calder kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Linlithgow until 1884, when it was annexed to the presbytery of Edinburgh and the synod of Lothian and Tweeddale. Prior to 1646 West Calder formed a part of the parish of Mid-Calder. The kirk session of West Calder was erected in 1647 when it was disjoined from the parish by the commissioner for the plantation of kirks.Records available
