Dalbeattie kirk session

A Church of Scotland quoad sacra parish. It sat within the presbytery of Dumfries until the restructuring of the presbyteries in 1976, when it became part of the presbytery of Dumfries and Kirkcudbright and the synod of Dumfries. It began as a chapel-of-ease in Urr parish in 1842. It was disjoined from Urr and erected quoad sacra in 1864. It later became known as Dalbeattie Craignair.
