Tarland and Migvie kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Kincardine O'Neil, later of Kincardine and Deeside, and the synod of Aberdeen. The church of Tarland was dedicated to St Mathulach and the church of Migvie to St Finan, both, prior to the reformation, belonged to the Priory of St Andrews. The two parishes were united in the early seventeenth century but post-union both retained a separate parish church.
