Strathdon kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Alford and the synod of Aberdeen. The parish of Strathdon was known of old as Invernochtie and the church was dedicated to St Andrew. Strathdon church was granted to the priory of Monymusk in the 11th century and in 1356 it was erected into a prebend of Aberdeen Cathedral.
