Strachan Free, United Free kirk session

A secession church court. It began as a Free Church in 1843. The congregation passed to the United Free Church, which decided that no new appointment to the ministry should be made after 1916. The charge passed to the Church of Scotland, as Strachan West, but without a settled pastorate, and united with Strachan Old as Strachan in 1950.
