Stracathro kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Brechin and the synod of Angus and Mearns. The church of Strathcaro was dedicated to St Rule and the parish was a prebend of Brechin. In 1618 the parishes of Dunlappie and Strathcaro were united.
